Method
Uppercase and lowercase modes use locale-aware Unicode conversion. Title and sentence modes first normalize case, then apply the tool's displayed capitalization rules without uploading the text.
Worked example
“AN EXAMPLE HEADING” becomes “An Example Heading” in title case and “An example heading” in sentence case.
Limits to know
There is no universal title-case standard. Acronyms, product names and intentionally mixed-case words such as iPhone should be reviewed after conversion; Unicode case conversion can also change string length.
